Without really planning on it, I spent most of the day today in th ecar driving around Warrumbungles National Park and the Pilga Scrub Reserve. I was following the instructions of one of the rangers and while it was a nice drive across a lot of different types of landscapes, I didn't see that many birds and not my targets. However, I did have a nice hour or so sitting (without camera) at a nice little water hole watching Yellow-faced Honeyeaters and Grey Fantails bathe and several other species including a Malee Ringneck come in to drink. It was a nice way to end the day before making the drive back to my camp.
