Well the supposed "easy" to find Black-breasted Button-quail was not so easy to find this morning and in fact evaded me completly. I gave it a couple hours this morning but came up unsuccessful so moved on since I will be back in a month or so. However, I did pick up a couple new species and photographed this Rainbow Bee-eater which turned out to be the 100th species of bird I have photographed this year.
I got back on the road sometime late morning and worked my way north before stopping at a wonderful little rest area and campground along a river. It really is a gorgeous setting and Ithink it might offer a few opportunities for photography in the morning. We will just have to see what the morning holds.
