Nevil and I drove back to Sydney today and picked up a couple new birds but not many. It was a nice relaxing drive through the New South Wales countryside and I enjoyed it very much. Never got the camera out so I am posting an image from Tuesday when we had great opportunities with crakes.
I must thank Nevil for his hospitality, both for inviting me into his home and along on his trip. It was a spectacular trip for me, even though we didn't see and photograph as many birds as he hoped. I had the opportunity to see a lot of new birds and some spectacular countryside with someone who knows the area. If you would like to see his work, visit his site here: Nevil Lazarus's BirdPhotos and enter "nevillazarus" as the username and "nevbirds" as the password.
By the time this is posted I will have also had an extensive update to my photo galleries. Check those out as well. Thanks!
