With a forecast for early showers and a clear afternoon, I slept in this morning, had a nice big breakfast in town, and headed east for an afternoon of photographing along Great Ocean Road. Most of the day I spent scouting locations and trying to form a plan. By about 6:30 though I put the plan into action. I photographed both the Grotto and the Arch in afternoon light before moving on to London Bridge which wasn't lit as I had hoped. Since that wasn't working, Imoved on to the Twelve Apostles viewpoint since it looked like we might have a decent sunset. I spent a couple hours up there photographing in the late evening light with both the digital and the 4"x5" camera and was really pleased with what I got throughout the afternoon. Its hard not to enjoy photographing a landscape as stunning as the coastline here.
